Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Discord bot HiveBots, the website hivebots.fr and its panel. By adding HiveBots to a server or using the website, you accept these terms.

2. Access to the service

• Access to the website and the panel is through a Discord account. You must comply with Discord's terms of service.
• A server's panel is only accessible to members who can manage it on Discord (owner, administrators or “Manage Server” permission).
• Most modules are free. Some options and higher limits are reserved for Premium.

3. Proper use

It is forbidden to use HiveBots to:

• harass, scam or harm other people;
• post content that is illegal, hateful or against Discord's rules;
• store real sensitive data (health, criminal record, banking information…): medical records and criminal records are reserved for fictional role-play characters;
• try to bypass the protections of the bot or the website, or deliberately overload it.

Each server's managers are responsible for the settings they choose and for the content posted with HiveBots on their server.

4. Premium

• Price: €7.99 for 30 days, per Discord server.
• Purchase: by opening a “Purchase / Premium” ticket on our Discord. Premium is activated once the payment is received.
• No automatic renewal: at the end of the 30 days, Premium stops on its own. If you renew it before the end, the days add up.
• When Premium ends: Premium options are disabled, but your settings and data are kept. They come back if you switch to Premium again.
• Right of withdrawal: Premium is a digital service activated immediately at your request. In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, by requesting its immediate activation, you agree that it starts before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and you waive this right.
• If a technical problem on our side prevents you from using Premium, open a ticket: we'll look for a solution (for example by extending your Premium).

5. Availability and liability

• We do our best to keep HiveBots running 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability (maintenance, Discord or hosting provider outage…).
• HiveBots depends on Discord: a change on their side may modify or limit some features.
• Modules may evolve, be improved or replaced over time.

6. Suspension

In case of non-compliance with these terms, access to HiveBots may be suspended for a server or a user, after a warning except in case of serious abuse.

7. Personal data

The use of your data is explained in our privacy policy.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Major changes will be announced on our Discord.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If there's an issue, contact us first on our Discord: we'll always look for an amicable solution.
